Discovery Conversations

During a 15-minute introductory call, we will learn what kind of support you are looking for and we will tell you how we operate. If there is synergy, we will schedule a discovery call to identify your needs, goals, key stakeholders and the level of investment you are willing to make to move your organization forward.

Let’s Make This Relationship Official

Knowing you're not the only decision-maker in this process, we provide a written proposal based on our discovery conversation. We’ll outline shared goals, timeline, contractual information, and a down payment. Because we don’t offer cookie-cutter solutions to complex organizational challenges, the cost depends on factors like the size of your organization, how much stakeholder input is required, and unanticipated challenges that arise.

Stakeholder Input and Design

When done right, strategic planning will energize your organization and build engagement with your stakeholders. It’s normal to feel apprehensive when starting this process. You’ll learn to invite “positive discomfort” during a series of interviews, surveys, coaching, and facilitated discussions. Your guide is equipped with 30+ years of experience, humor, transparency, and a new perspective.

Board and Leadership Strategic Planning Retreat

While certain aspects like interviews and focus groups can be done virtually, we highly recommend in-person sessions for the strategic planning retreat. There’s simply no substitute for the connection, communication, and relationship-building that happens when boards and leadership teams meet face-to-face.
