The expression, “the cream rises to the top”, frequently explains how high performers get noticed and are quickly moved up the ladder. Unfortunately, just because someone is a rock star researcher, developer or sales person, doesn’t mean they are prepared for or will be a rock star developer of people.
We specifically designed our Workplace Culture Peer Development Groups to provide leaders with an opportunity to "try-on" new methods for developing employees. Supported by INspiring Sight, these groups will help participants utilize peer relationships to engage in problem solving, build emotional muscles, learn how to ask powerful questions, share frustrations and open-up new ways of communication. Participation requires an openness to risk-taking and expanding self-awareness.
